AXEDL respects intellectual property rights and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.

Our Role

AXEDL is a directory and link aggregator. We do not store, host, or distribute any files on our servers. All download links point to third-party hosting services. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below.

Filing a DMCA Notice

To file a valid DMCA notice, you must provide the following in writing:

1. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. The exact URL(s) on AXEDL where the allegedly infringing content appears.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Response Time

We aim to process valid DMCA notices within 3–5 business days. Upon verification, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice with the same contact information. Counter-notices must include: your identification, the content URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error, and your consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

AXEDL reserves the right to terminate access for users who are repeat copyright infringers.
